Important Notes:

– THE IDIOT DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS OR REFUNDS FOR ANY REASON.

– We only support size exchanges or exchanges for a different item if the customer requests or if the product is defective.

– Some cases that may arise:

+ The product’s measurements differ from the size chart by 1-3cm.

+ The staff provided size advice based on the customer’s measurements, but the product still does not fit.

The Idiot emphasizes that we are not responsible for any costs incurred due to exchanges for the two reasons above. All exchange-related costs will be covered by the customer. Minor measurement differences within a product may occur during production. Additionally, our size recommendations are for reference only and are entirely based on the measurements provided by the customer. The Idiot commits to not misleading customers into purchasing ill-fitting items and will take responsibility if the measurement discrepancy is significantly large (4-5cm or more in waist and length dimensions).

– Each order can only be exchanged once, following a one-to-one exchange policy. The new product must have equal or higher value than the exchanged item. If the new item is of higher value, the customer must pay the price difference. If it is lower, The Idiot will not refund the difference.

– The exchange policy does not apply to discounted products.

– The Idiot operates separate online and offline sales departments. Customers must not bring products to the physical store for exchanges without receiving a confirmation message from the online team.

– If a customer reports a defective or missing item, they must provide an unboxing video for verification against our packing camera records. Without an unboxing video, if our camera footage does not confirm the issue, we will not cover 100% of the exchange costs.

*Valid unboxing video criteria: The video must be recorded and submitted within the order processing time-frame specified in The Idiot’s policy. The video must clearly capture all angles of the package, showing the tracking number and the continuous unpacking process without any cuts. For defective items, the video must clearly show the defect as reported by the customer.

– For other exchanges based on customer preference, the customer is responsible for all exchange and related costs.

Exchange Conditions for Products:

– Products must be unused, unstained, unwashed, free from foreign odors, and accompanied by the purchase invoice (for customers in Vietnam).

– Products must not have damage caused by improper storage or transportation by the buyer. 

2. For Online Customers in Vietnam:

+ Special Notes for Customers:

– Exchange requests must be made within 2 days from the date the customer confirms receipt of the package.

– If an order is returned due to the customer not receiving it, all return and re-delivery costs must be covered by the customer.

– If an order is returned because the customer was unavailable for delivery and no re-delivery request is made within 3 days of the store’s contact, the order will be canceled without a refund.

– The Idiot does not allow online orders to be paid in-store or picked up at the store. Offline and online sales policies are different. If a customer arrives at the store to pick up an order without prior notification, exchange and support policies will be void for that order.

– If a customer uses a third-party shipping service or has someone else receive the order, The Idiot will only deliver based on the provided recipient information and will not be responsible for any loss or missing items caused by intermediaries. Exchange requests beyond the policy’s time-frame (e.g., when customers return from overseas and receive the item late) will not be accepted.

– The Idiot does not provide urgent exchanges under any circumstances. Exchanges will only be processed after receiving and verifying the returned item.

– If the customer requires urgent shipping for the exchanged item, all shipping costs will be covered by the customer. 

+Exchange Process:

– Once the exchange request is confirmed as valid, the customer must return the item to the address provided by The Idiot. If the item is not returned or if no return notification with a tracking code is received within 2 days, The Idiot reserves the right to refuse the exchange.

– After receiving the returned item, The Idiot will inspect and confirm its eligibility for exchange. If approved, the replacement product will be sent to the customer within 2-3 business days. During this time, customers are kindly asked to wait patiently and avoid submitting duplicate requests.

– If the returned product is missing tags, shows signs of use, has an odor, or has defects that were not previously reported, The Idiot has the right to reject the exchange and return the product to the customer. Alternatively, a 5%-10% restocking fee may be applied if the damage is minor and acceptable.

– Customers in Ho Chi Minh City may visit the store to exchange items after providing information and receiving confirmation from the online team. Please do not bring products to the store without prior confirmation, as we have the right to refuse in-store exchanges if the policy is violated.

3. For International Online Customers:

 + Special Notes for Customers:

– Please regularly check the tracking code for shipping updates to ensure timely receipt of the package.

– If an order is returned due to the customer not receiving it, all return and re-delivery costs must be covered by the customer.

– If an order is returned because the customer was unavailable for delivery and no re-delivery request is made within 3 days of the store’s contact, the order will be canceled without a refund.

– Exchange requests must be made within 3 days from the date the customer confirms receipt of the package.

– As emphasized in the Important Notes section, The Idiot does not cover costs for exchanges due to minor size discrepancies. If the product has a significant measurement discrepancy (4-5cm or more in waist and length), the customer must provide clear photos/videos for verification. If The Idiot confirms the measurement issue, the product can be returned for inspection and exchanged.

+Exchange Process:

– Once the exchange request is confirmed as valid, the customer must return the item to the address provided by The Idiot. If the item is not returned or if no return notification with a tracking code is received within 2 days, The Idiot reserves the right to refuse the exchange.
